跑了45MILEs,然后显示油只剩一半啊....

生似的,我同学的车,都报警说油太少,要加油,针都到底部了,可是还能上高速开了20多
个MILES....
我怀疑有时候这个油耗指针显示的是不是不准?当然,我觉得我的车的耗油是离普了点...

不如你立刻再去加油，看加满需要多少加仑，比如X加仑
于是这期间你的mpg就是45/X

let me tell you how to calculate the MPG:
1. top your tank on an early date of a month, write down the mileage on your
odometer, let's say it is M1.
2. keep receipts of all gas sales afterward in that month (you don't need
the receipt in step1), make sure the amount of fuel you fill up every time
is readable on the slip, or you may need to write them down.
3. at the end of the month, top your tank at a gas station,get a receipt,
and write down the mileage shown on your dash, let's say it is M2.
add up all those amounts of gas from all receipts, that's the total gallons
you've consumed within the month , say it is G.
your monthly average MPG= (M2-M1)/G
Note: you don't need to top your tank every time, but make sure you top it the first time and the last time, when you get those mileage readings.

我一般用一个简化的方法，因为那些receipt经常找不到。
一开始加满，开到油快用完再加满。
中间跑的距离除以第二次加的油量。
