发帖数: 111 | 1 Car A (KIA RIO5,2006) hit the back of my car(Toyota Corrolla,2010). The head
of Car A is damaged. For my car, bumper is seriously damaged, then was gone
when driving back. The trunk can't be closed. I have called my insurance
company (Geico), it said the first choice is I need call Car A's insurance
company to deal with this accident.
Question 1: Will my insurance company increases insurance expanse in my
next bill cycle?
Then I called Car A's insurance company( ABC American Southwest). Yesterday
, Car A's insurance company assessed my car, about 5k dollars to fix my car.
I don't need pay the bill.
Question 2: Is my car's Title marked by a accident? Who will claim this
accident to DMV in order to add this car accident into my carfax? In this
case, if I need sell my car in the future, this will be an excuse for the
person to ask for lower price. This is unfair to me. Any suggestions?
Question 3: My car is 2010, very new. The car warrant from Toyota is 5 years
. Do I need report this car accident to Toyota company? If so, if my car's
engine(e.g) has some problems next year, does Toyota company fix my car for
free based on the warrant, or Toyota said that your car has been damaged one
year ago, it is not our full responsibility to pay all bill? What do I need
do?
