发帖数: 46 | 1 两周前在红绿灯路口被一个19岁的黑妞追尾了，是晚上并且在下雪估计她没看清楚或者
没刹住，我bumper被撞了个坑摇摇晃晃的但车开起来还行，对方的hood撞变形了车被拖
走。
当时叫了警察，对方说有保险，并且拿到了警察report上也说对方的fault。
今天刚得知对方保险撞车时已经过期一个月了，请问这种情况该咋搞？谢谢！ |

And should I sue the driver at fault or should my insurance company do it?

发帖数: 138 | 5 your insurance company will pay you to fix your car with your deductible since you have uninsured motorists coverage.
what you loose is your deductible and possible premiere increase.
you can threaten to sue the other driver and try to get your deductible from her. otherwise, this kind of lawsuit is useless for you since you wont get any money out of it. |

你最好上法庭去告。。。deductible一般是500－1000，一般人还是会拿的出的。。。

My insurance company will fix my car with 500 deductible and they will
contact the other drive to see if I can get the 500 back.
