Automobile版 - question for trial by written clarification |

发帖数: 50 | 1 Sorry to bother all. I got a speed ticket recently. After paying full amount
of bail, I did a trial by written clarification. It has been a month
already but I have not received anything from the court. But I just found
out new appearance date is this Thursday when I visited superior court
website. I am not sure if I should go to the court as I am still waiting for
final judgment from the court. I am in LA. Any suggestion or info would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You didn't receive the form for Trial by Written Declaration? Or you sent
the declaration in and didn't receive a judgment? If the latter, they might
be backlogged and take several months to get to your case. But you should
call regularly and check if they have decided it (or at least call and find
out when they're going to review your case) so you don't miss your chance
for a Trial de Novo if you lose. | O**D

I did send in written declaration but have not received judgement yet. My
question is online info shows latest appearance date for this citation # is
this Thursday but I have not received any judgement from the court yet.
Maybe I should call in tomorrow to ask the court but I do not expect anyone
will take my phone call, as I just tried today. sign...
