I have two witnesses. And narrow down the color of the car. now I have the
suspected plate numbers from the communicate gate control office.
Can I find the color and maker of the car?
If I report this to insurance company, will they be able to find out this
information?

call 911 and tell us what they say.
if you dig out my post from years ago, you will see I've been hit and run
multiple times, yes in mother fucking Queens, and them NYPD police pigs did
absolutely nothing! |

发帖数: 5411 | 7 ok, I witnessed a hit and run myself on the LIE (495); then I stayed there
to be a witness and I got a picture of the car using my cell phone with the
plate number, car make (nissan), model (maxima), color (blue), and I even
remember the driver was a young white mother fucker.
you know what, after we waited for like 2 hours, the fucken NYPD officer
said to the victim: 'oh, you can get
a report if you want, to prove that the damage was not your fault, we can't
find this guy, or give him a ticket or anything. you can try talking to
your insurance company.' then the police left, giving the victim a phone
number to call and get a accident report.
I wouldn't believe this if not seeing this shit myself. |

decided not to file it on that day when the policeman came over. I have to
say I am too naive. I thought if they are the residences, it will be too
bad for them to get charged for hit and run.
After I waited for 2 days, nobody step out to take the responsibility. I
decide to find out who is this MF.
My insurance company will try the best to chase down these two couple.
Let's see what will happen.
Again, don't try to be the nice guy, nobody will appreciate it. I learned
that now. |

情况跟我当年1千7买的323差不多啊，当时就是靠肇事车后面的人提供的车牌号。
破车半保，警察没查到对方车太多的证据。但是，我因为有证人，学校的律师给我了一
个他自己做的form template，让我填好以后直接寄给对方，告诉他这本来是个小碰撞
，他也可能当时没感觉到撞了我了，但是如果不赔，就法庭见。
结果对方收到以后，立刻乖乖让我把估价单发给他。我跑了两家body shop。一个给估
价3千，另一个估价1千8, 律师说，就当没去那个1千8的body shop好了。然后我把这个
3千的估价单发给他，还告诉他，没错，这就是个小碰撞，但是并不代表代价不贵。他
最后还是用保险处理了。
他保险说你这个车修起来要2千8, 可总共才值2千2。 结果我要求留车，保险就赔了1千
7。我那烂车又开了1年，然后450卖了。 |
