u****u 发帖数: 21 | 1 we just looked an USED 2004 Honda Odyssey EX tonight. 10,5000 miles. Leather
, power and heated seat. Dual sliding door,CD (no DVD) etc.
First owner sold to an local Honda deal at 72,000 miles. Honda dealer
replaced the transmission at 88,000 miles. Second owner bought it from the
Honda dealer.
Second owner is an 30s Americans family guy with two small kids. He seems
very honest and told us the detailed history of the car when we tested drive
at his home. He wants to sell the car to finance his own house since he is
currently renting.
We just verified the car's history through Carfax report (Thanks for the
fast service of c******[email protected]). Title is clean and no accident reported
. He even have all the receipts that all the major services done on the car.
(time belting was just changed, new front breaks and new air conditioning
compressor). You can imagine we naturally trust the guy.
Car is well maintained and drives well. Ask for $7200.
My concern is that given the transmission recall history of odyssey, anyone
has any suggestions or warning regarding the transmission before we buy the
car? IF we drive it to a mechanic or order a car inspection form carchex.
com, is it going to help a lot in terms of finding the potential
transgression problem?
Many thanks! | z**n 发帖数: 22303 | 2 据说,只是据说,这样换的变速箱,很多都是翻新的,运气稍微差点过几年又死翘了,想冒
险就上吧. | z****g 发帖数: 2128 | 3 if you can confirm with Honda dealer that the transmission had 3 years cover
, go for it. |
