I have a leased a car and lease is reaching the end.
I seldom drove the car, so it is in a really low mileage. If I just return
it to the dealer, I am losing much money I think.
Now I decided to sell it to private buyers.
I have no idea how to deal with this process. Can some one guide me from the
beginning, such as, do I need to buy off from the dealer, how to receive
the money, how to change the title, is there anything else I or the buyer
should do ?

发帖数: 229 | 5 I have asked the dealer, they said yes, as long as I find the buyer.
it is like, the car is about to return to the dealer, I need to pay $10,000
as the rest value of the car, if I want to have it.
if I find a buyer, the buyer can offer $11,000, then he can give $10,000 to
the dealer, and $1,000 to me.
The reason why dealer is willing to do that, is dealer does not lose
anything.

to actually own the car. I can do it right now, not waiting until the lease
ends.
The reason I mentioned I will lose money, is I did not drive the car much
and it is in a really good condition. so I can sell a better price than the
money I should pay for owning the car.
I have a person who is interested in buying this car, and willing to pay a
good price.
So that I am asking how to sell a car, what is the process? Thanks.

car process in ur state.

I remember there's a catch that you have to sell your car within xx days
after you buy it from the dealer to avoid double paying the sales tax. |

一个是全款付清，然后自己再补税，去dmv办过户之类的，然后再卖。
一个是去dealer，可以继续贷款，然后dealer会帮你办理所有手续，但是要付dealer
fee。
如果你还欠1万，那么拿到手交好税1万1的话，那个要买的人也要交税过户什么的，对
他来讲如果没什么好处为什么要在你手里买呢？ |
