I guess that's why the discount is pretty substantial.

discount is big because
1. it is considered as an old man's car
2. sedan, especially larger sedan, is out of fashion/favor overall.
in effect avalon is a very good car. if you can get it cheaper, it will be e
ven better.

I was tempted to buy Subaru Outback, the discount was minimal. The market
price for SUV/Crossover/minivan is higher than what the MSRP suggests, in
relation to sedans.
I can't tell if Avalon is closer to ES or Camry,lol.

26k is a definitely a bargain!
Even a 3.5L V6 Camry can cost more.
