If you buy a caliper in autozone, it will cost you no more than $100,
(since autozone will buy your old one back). a rotator will cost you
$20 or so. plus labor($30 at most for one front wheel), it should be
about $150.
rotator is a disk on the axle. Brake pads hold on it to do the braking.
Caliper is the part with the piston to control the movements of the
brake pads. If you press the brake, the brake fluid will make the
