when you slow down the car, kinetic energy is converted
to eletricity by the electric motor/generator.
the insight shuts off the engine during stops,
so you can't charge the battery just let the engine
idle.
and you probably can't use all the power, when
the battery power is low, the car doesn't use
it any more. I'm not sure about this though. |
