有，年纪一大把，一事无成，真正成loser了，所以即使在米国找不到工作，偶也不读博
士了，现在偶宁可回国工作也不读了。
这里的生活我一点也不喜欢，我真想离开这里了，这学期结束了我就离开，哪怕是回国工

I do not hate PhD degree, but I hate the damn useless knowledge from my
advisor. She knows nothing, but some damn useless knowledge.
I just feel pressure that I am becoming older and older.

the professors in this field are producing nothing but shit. All the research
work they did can not be applied to real life, which is really a pain on my
ass. hehe, they are doing nothing but useless shit :-( Adjo is also doing
shit, as far as I know. But they are enjoying their life because they can
publish a huge amount of junk papers without any real data collection.

I think work with a master's degree is good for a short term,
and getting a phd is for the benefit in the long run.
if you can find a faculty position in a US U. and then become a part-time
professor in NJTU, such as Professor Yu., isn't good?
if you work with a master, you will also find it boring after a while.
most of the work is kind of routine, and will be boring if you can't find a
breakthrough point

Your words are very reasonable. I think it's better to get a PhD for a long
term. hehe, but working as a faculty member is toooooo difficult for me. hehe
You can try some faculty postion because your school is a top one, hehe.
I prefer to find a job because I need some money to support my family. But I
have no choice to continue my study if I fail to find a job. hehe
The life here is so boring, so I've got to leave here. I am also applying for
a GIS PhD program. I like GIS more than
