Coors Field is THE hitter's heaven.
The theory is that the air in Denver is so thin that fly ball goes a long
way. Coors Field, when compared with the other ball parks in NL West,
actually is a bit larger in terms of dimension. If I were ten years younger
and a little bit better at analysis, I'd probably have started scribbling on
paper to work out how big an effect thin air at the Mile High city really
could do to a baseball. I am just glad I have passed that stage... |
