HoF, i think. say, if a pitcher doesn't last 10 years in the league, with
very good win/loss, era, etc, he still won't make it even with 2 perfect
games.

No way. A perfect game doesn't contribute to your team more than a CG
shutout.
Jonathan Sanchez pitched one error from a perfect game. The difference
between
these 2 games is pure luck, too. As in Sanchez's case, a lot of perfect
games and
no-hitters were against weak lineups. Rays' lineup is strong on paper, but
they
have struggled mightily for 2 weeks. That's another part of luck.

I only said PG means much more than unassisted TP, I am not comparing PG
with CG shutout or no hitter.

has a legit point.... every no-hitter takes at least one great defensive
play and
some other lucky bounce... just like Pat Burrell's foul ball in the 8th...

players里面只有他和大单位有2个 no-hitter. |

Don Larson pitched the only perfect game in a WS. He got a lot of
nomination to HOF because of that. Of course he fell way short.

My friend sent me a few hours ago...
"I have to tell you my friend Debbie and I went to the Sox game today. I no
ticed it in the 5th inning and it just kept getting better and better. The
crowd was quiet and nervous at first but by the 9th, we were all up yelling.
I am sure you saw it on the news. It was fun."
