Is there any New York Knicks fan out there who thought the team would win
five straight games with an undrafted free agent point guard from Harvard
named Jeremy Lin leading the way? What Jeremy Lin has accomplished over the
last five games with the Knicks have been nothing short of phenomenal.
Jeremy Lin has been so good over the last five games, he's averaged 26.8
points, 8.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, that Knicks fans
might as well start dreaming. Can Jeremy Lin lead the New York Knicks to a
NBA Championship in 2012?
I'm a New Jersey Nets fan in the NBA, but root for the New York Knicks
because Carmelo Anthony is my favorite NBA player. So I watch the New York
Knicks games.
Back on February 1, 2012, I wrote an article calling for the Knicks to play
Jeremy Lin at point guard. In the article I pointed out that Jeremy Lin had
played well at Harvard in college, and in the NBA D-League, where had a
triple-double on January 20, 2012. I also pointed that Jeremy Lin was
averaging 22.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 12.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game
per 36 minutes played for the Knicks through February 1, 2012.
I closed the article by saying that Jeremy Lin could turn out to be a player
in the NBA. So I was a supporter of the Knicks playing Jeremy Lin a full
two games before the current win streak began, but even I had no idea he
could play the way he's played in leading the New York Knicks to five
straight wins. The five straight wins have moved the Knicks record to 13-15,
and put them clearly in the running for the playoffs.
Knicks Have Won Five Straight Playing Mostly Without Amare Stoudemire and
Carmelo Anthony
Jeremy Lin has led the Knicks to five straight wins without the Knicks two
best players, Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, playing in most of those
games. Melo has a strained groin, and Amare's brother died in a car
accident. A lot of people have wondered if having Stoudemire and Anthony
back will be a good thing for the Knicks.
Jeremy Lin Has Made All His Teammates Better
Over the last five games, Jeremy Lin's play has lifted the play of almost
all the other players on the Knicks. Steve Novak went from scoring 41 total
points on the season, to scoring 62 points over the last four games. Rookie
Iman Shumpert went from making 37.2% of his shots, to making 20 of 40 (50%)
shots over the last three games.
If Jeremy Lin Gets Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire to Play Better
Knicks Can Win NBA Championship in 2012
If Jeremy Lin can also lift the games of Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo
Anthony, the Knicks two best scorers on the season, how good are the New
York Knicks going to be? If Jeremy Lin can keep playing like he has over the
last five games, and he can keep helping all of his teammates to play
better, why can't the New York Knicks compete for the NBA Championship in

，替补的话小牛队的Terry完胜纽约的Shumpert或者Novak,但是总体而言这两个队还是

克就秒杀纽约全队了

纽约过了季后赛第一轮先。
