发帖数: 2019 | 1 Many people count Denver out after Game 1 but as a lakers fan I just don't
see it a short series. Here are the reasons:
1) As dominant as Bynum was defensively, he was ineffective on offense.
Denver's doubling against him was VERY effective and basically took him out.
No Lakers don't need him to score much to win the series, if he plays that
good on defense, but I feel that's a big IF.
2) 10 block shots from Bynum, 3 consecutive threes from Blake, double-double
from Jordan Hill, double figures from Ebanks. Most likely those numbers won
't repeat. On the other hand, Ty Lawson is too good not to bounce back from
his pathetic performace in Game 1.
Lakers will take it eventually but this will be a long series, at least 6

matchup. Nuggets players are very small, and they are forced to double Bynum
, Gasol and Kobe on isolation in the post. That opens up other players like
Ebanks and Blake. On the other hand, Denver finds no mismatch in half court,
and there are not many fastbreaks to take advantage of.
In Lakers offense, Kobe's a constant, and Gasol is the key. In any
series Gasol had a mismatch, Lakers won easily.Gasol was vastly outplayed in
the 2 series they lost last 4 years.In series Gasol was neutralized, it became a dogfight. Such as 2009 Nuggets, 2010 Celtics.
