经文: 「你这虫雅各…不要害怕…我要使你成为有快齿打粮的新器具。」（赛四十一14
~15）
虫与快齿的器具怎样可以相比呢？虫是多么輭弱，给石头或车轮一压，就会压
得稀烂；快齿的器具是多么坚强；甚至能「把山岭打得粉碎，使冈陵如同糠秕。」（赛
四十一15）但是全能的上帝能使虫成为有快齿的器具。上帝能使个人或民族，借着祂的
灵，从虫的輭弱变到快齿器具的刚强，在历史上留着很深的痕迹。
所以我们这些虫不要丧胆。全能的上帝能使我们在四围患难的环境中变成刚强
。靠着祂的力量，我们能叫我们的环境向我们屈服，向我们进贡。我们甚至能随便抓住
一个黑色的失望，把它劈开来，从其中抽出恩典的宝石来。上帝也能给我们像铁那般的
意志，所有的难处都能迎刃而解，犹如坚土遇到铁牦那样松散。上帝既说：「我要使你
