perfect. However, you can still be successful in a good lab even thought the
boss is not that famous (HHMI or academy member). The most important thing of
selecting postdoc lab is that you can do whatever you like (in the same
direction of the lab, of course) and you have enough money to carry out your
experiments. Then it is up to you how to succeed. I graduated from a very

studying is small but very important, and it requires expertise that most
people in the field do not have (it belongs to another field).
The bottom line is that you have to find your own unique place. For instance,
if you can find a lab that does the similar study to what Roger Tsien's lab
does, and you can applied it to a particular area of study, you can probably
find a good job.
