挺不错的。
但是你的情况应该还是取决于你要跟的老板吧。

杂志的文章不少，每年一篇~！
我目前实验室的老板就是面临经费紧张，才考虑转lab |

and living environment and potential career opportunities (or lack of).

area if you drive 20 minutes. It is easy to live in cincinnati, just toooooo
boring.. nothing fun with 300 miles |

发帖数: 381 | 15 其实美国南部的州，黑人都不少。其实北方州还不是一样的，有一些州，黑人比率达到
40%。也就导致治安问题，但是这个问题还是可以避免的，自己小心一些，还是可以防
范的~！
我发现，凡是发达地区或者富裕的省份与城市，黑人就多~！
不知道CCHMC有无对员工的escort（护送）安保服务？
比如我现在的这个大学，对于晚上10点以后仍然在上班晚归的员工，只要拨打学校保安
部的电话，3分钟内就会有一部university police car来接你，免费送到你家里（当然
不能很远哦），车上的警员是学校的，但是警车和警员的装备都是与地方的police保持
一致~！有一次我晚上12点实验才做完，就打了这个电话，很安全的送到家里了。 |

后，邀请我下周去他们lab参观一下，了解一下他们的情况，他们报销差旅费，老板开
车去接我。（不知道是否可以搓一顿，呵呵~！）

发帖数: 1789 | 30 一个研究所有没有钱， 跟你没有关系。尤其是临床有钱， 跟基础研究没关系。就算你
隔壁的实验室有10个RO1, 跟你也没关系。要看你自己实验室。
同样，一个研究所的研究水平也不重要。哈佛也不是每个实验室都能发CNS, 没文章的
博后有的是。
关键就看你老板。

the north of cincinnati is the best community (mason, west chester) to live
as far as i know. and also expensive.

Cincy may have the most fun in Ohio.Hehe, that means there is no fun in Ohio
at all!! If you want to go to somewhere for a vacation, like the coming
labor day holiday, either you have to drive at least 5-6 hours (Chicago,
lake michigan), or you have to fly)

well, lots of folks i know in cincy love outdoor, so we won't bother with it
. u could trade the fresh air for

I guess it should be quite challenging to get the grant.
Maybe even more difficult than K99/R00.
huge difference. but in cchmc, if u could get a R21 during your postdoc, u
could possibly get the full time position.
