The global pharmaceutical market will expand by $300bn through 2014 growing
at a rate of 5-8% annually. The Developed markets will contribute less than
half of the $300 billion growth over the next five years with a growth rate
at 2-5%, while the Emerging markets will offset the slowing growth in
developed markets with a growth rate around 14-17% and China is leading the
way with an average 20% growth a year.
