Laboratory, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, in collaboration with
Dept of Neurology, Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital
and Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona. The research in our
laboratories is focused on signal transduction pathways in cancers, diabetes
, and hypothalamic hamartoma (HH). Cell culture systems, animal models, as
well as specimens from human subjects are routinely used in our studies.
Our long-term goal is to discover potential therapeutic biomarkers and new
targets for the treatment of these diseases. More information about
research projects in the lab can be found in representative publications (

Western blotting, ELISA, etc.) and the ability to perform experiments and
analyze data independently. Candidates with experience of fluorescent and
confocal microscopy techniques and proteomics, and having first-authored
publications in internationally recognized journals are preferred. However,
training in cell biology can be given as needed. This position is intended
for mature and highly motivated candidates who are keen to work hard in a
multidisciplinary environment in our newly established, state-of-the-art
