be surprised....
Industry postdogs are recruited for high risk basic research projects,
which high profile publication record is essential.

Sometimes, big discoveries are reported in low impact journals. Clonal
selection theory, brought by Frank Burnet, who won nobel prize, was
published on " Australian Journal of Experimental Biology and Medical
Science".
Th1/Th2 model discovered by Robert Coffman, was published on Journal of
Immunology.
