The LSI Fellows Program is designed to recruit promising PhD scientists to
join the cutting-edge community of the LSI. Fellows will design a research
program under the auspices of the faculty, working with one or more advisers
to develop and pursue interdisciplinary work that can launch an innovative
independent career.
The LSI Fellows program is made possible with the support of David Walt,
member of the LSI Scientific Advisory Board and the Leadership Council.
As Walt said in an interview, "In the real world, science and innovation get
done by collaborations with teams-scientists, engineers, mathematicians,
computer scientists, and business experts. Learning by immersion in that
kind of environment, as is done at LSI, is the best possible training ground
."
The application deadline is May 15.
