Position Objective
Sotio (Beijing) has an immediate hire of one QC scientist with strong
scientific and technical strength in cell biology and immunology at Yizhuang
Beijing. The scientist will join the team with creativity and professional
excellence to setup and maintain Flow Cytometry based QC in a GMP
environment.
Essential Functions
• Establish the technical platform and setup the SOPs to monitor
the manufacturing processes.
• Establish the SOPs to isolate and culture human dendritic cells
and human cell line in Clear Room environment.
• Prepare validation reports, product summaries, and protocols.
Maintain accurate batch record.
• Utilize scientific knowledge and technical skills to make
detailed observations and analyze data to identify and solve problems in
experimental designs.
• Hire and train junior staff.
Basic Qualifications
• Master’s or Ph.D degree in cell biology, immunology, pathology
or other equivalent areas.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, hemocytometer, and
microscopy.
• Medically fit. Vaccinated against hepatitis B.
• Demonstrated experience in aseptic handling, cell culture, and
cell morphology study.
• Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following experiences are highly preferred
• 1-5 years experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry,
preferably in GMP
• Experience in culture of dendritic cell, T cell, primary cell,
and stem cell
Working Conditions
• Work in a laboratory environment. May be required to stand or
sit for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to work
safely with chemicals and hazardous materials. Comply with all company
safety regulations and procedures.
• Work with human blood or other potentially infectious materials.
