发帖数: 28562 | 2 对于第一次投的人而言分数不错了。但是应该要看percentile 而不是分数。
你的percentile 应该在15%左右，取决于你投哪个部门，如果是NIGMS or NEI就可能中
了。如果是NCI就悲剧了。
即使没有拿到，分数其实还是不错的。等拿到summary statement 之后好好看看里面的
意见改改吧

your grant is not discussed i.e. below top 30-50% depending on the study
section. Btw, convert your R21 to an R01, do not go for R21 especially for
a new investigator.

上周末才meet.
可能会和comment summary一起？

BTW, just check NIAID website, except R01, all the rest award types only
provide overall impact score, rather than percentile. The payline of R21 for
this fiscal year is 23 (28 for last year). I am close, but out of the line.

发帖数: 2041 | 10 Because R21 is rarely funded in many institutes. If you can get a R21, you
grant is likely to be fundable as a R01. Also, R21 is 2 years without
possibility of renewal. So you literally screw yourself twice if you got
funded a R21.
There are exceptions to this rule such as a very specific RFA from NIH. |
