ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
If you are passionate about clinical and translational research, this
position might be a good fit for you. The nature of the research is using
advanced and novel technologies to solve clinical diagnostic challenges. You
will be empowered to formulate your ideas, solutions to address clinical
questions such as how to detect diseases markers earlier and more
specifically. Abundant opportunities exist within the Texas Medical Center
for research collaborations. You are encouraged to prepare presentations,
posters and manuscripts for publication. Techniques preferred include: ELISA
, mass spectrometry, chromatography, sequencing, microfluidics and
nanotechnology. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Must have excellent
writing and communication skills.
EDUCATION
PhD degree with biology or chemistry related major required.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in in vitro diagnostics is preferred but not required. Passion
about clinical and translational research is required. | f****s
