1. Title: Group Leader of Mass Spectrometry Based Proteomics
Location Hangzhou, China
Job Description
PTM Biolabs is currently seeking for an innovative and experienced
Group Leader with expertise in Mass Spectrometry Based Proteomics to join
the Mass spectrometry department located at our China headquarters in
Hangzhou. They will lead and support the mass spectrometry based proteomic
analysis department to reach and expend corporate research objective.
Essential responsibilities are as followed, other duties may be assigned:
• Manage the scientific staffs and associated laboratory operations
to increase goal attainment;
• Build collaborative, strategic relationships/partnerships with
internal and external research teams (leading universities, research
institutes, and private industries) to further the scope of PTM Biolabs’
key objectives;
• Oversee data analysis and assist with manuscript preparation;
• Create Standard Operation Procedures that indicate the mission
and vision of the company with regard to scientific work.
Qualifications and Skills:
• PhD degree in proteomics and analytic chemistry.
• 10 years of research experience in mass spectrometry-based
proteomics technology including label free or labeled protein quantification
and identification.
• 2~5 year post-doctoral research experience is required. Prior
industry experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical assays and
protocols, to mentor and guide junior lab staff on a daily basis, and the
ability to identify new scientific and technical platforms that support the
work of the group.
• Consistent record of cutting edge research and/or clinically-
driven science as evidenced by high profile publications.
• Outstanding scientific presentation, writing and communication
skills.
2. Title: Group Leader of Bioinformatics
Location: Hangzhou, China
Department: Research and Development
Location: Hangzhou, China
PTM Biolabs is currently seeking a talented and experienced Group
Leader to join the Bioinformatics Department at our China site in Hangzhou.
This position will develop bioinformatics technologies and use them to carry
out bioinformatics analysis for the MS/MS proteomics data.
Position duties and responsibilities:
• Lead the team of Scientists utilizing bioinformatics,
computational biology, and informatics-driven analytics to support the
target discovery from proteomics data;
• Proactively respond to specific questions from cross functional
teams; offer exceptional scientific and technical leadership to peers and
assigned project team members;
• Provide technical assistance to marketing and business
development teams;
• Prepare/revise technical reports and succinct scientific
presentations to share among cross-functional teams;
• Manage workflow of core lab group to ensure that quality,
priorities and timelines meet the company Standard Operator Procedure;
• Design and execute innovative bioinformatics strategies to meet
the needs of clients and research purposes.
Qualifications:
• PhD in Bioinformatics, biostatistics or equivalent 5 years of
working experience in computational biology, bioinformatics or biostatistics
with strong background in genomics and proteomic analysis.
• Experienced in setting up and analyzing large scale datasets is
required; Massive data mining, sequence assembly and annotation experience
is a higher desirable;
• Experienced in coding or programming new sequence analysis tools;
• Knowledgeable in cancer genome analysis, biomarker and target
development are strong pluses.
• Track record of high profile publications in Bioinformatics or
biomedical research.
• Strong leadership capabilities to lead, influence, and motivate
others to achieve goal at team and departmental level.
• Outstanding scientific presentation, writing and communication
skills.

4w左右，相比上海要便宜太多太多。而且公司待遇在同行业中属于上游水平，和目前公
司在proteomics领域的地位相称。
关键公司蛋白质组学、蛋白质修饰组学、修饰抗体研发、生物信息部门都有，而且PTM
修饰的地位目前没有人能撼动。对比之下很多公司连MS仪器都没有，都是外包出去。 | F*******t

不过用的质谱仪，像orbitrap，应该还是国家经费买的仪器吧，
