We hit a car's left (front) fender and get the estimate from different
bodyshop $450, $1100, $1200$ and $1300. $1300 is car's owner got from her
bodyshop. She said she only want to go to her bodyshop called Etre's Auto
Body Shop. I check the items listed in the quote and bring it to other three
bodyshops and was told some items of Etre's listed don't make sense.
Since car owner persist to go to Etre's and I don't want to go to insurance,
should I just give her $1300 and 4 day's rental?

一个点7%，不会每个点要100。你的损失大概是3点20%+136，每年260，五年。不管怎么
样，都不应该自己付。不然买保险干啥？花钱就是消灾，而且你也可以换保险公司。

楼主那个550一年显然不是新手了，3个点涨不了那么多。3年以后就可以降，5年就可以

但是有两个问题：
1. 如果你在500-2000的损失不想用保鲜公司，那你当初的 deductable应该设2000快，
还省的保费。
瞬然deductable不适用你当前的case。
2. 如果你只有一个minor accident，很多保鲜公司是只surcharge 3年的。所以你要经
常换， 如果你
不换， 他有可能6年。但你如果换新的， 新的公司有可能ignore it，为了争取新客户。
点是driving merit board maintain的，但保险公司可以overwrite。
你的case， 听哥一句话，让保鲜陪，否则你真傻了。

boston,从来没有事故，这是好事。
我的意思是让楼主考虑清楚，考虑到自己是新车还是旧车，有没有3年内买新车的打算
，自己住的区域，车保全保或半保，再做决定，最好多quote几家保险公司，看看你的
保险下一个6年到底涨多少，当然第四年开始每年降一点，保险也降，第七年归零。如
果买新车，3点涨1000-1500是一点都不夸张的，新司机就不用讲了2000以上的涨幅。关
于是给钱摆平还是走保险公司，我是吃过这个亏的，有些人道听途说，乱发言，没有经
历过，楼主还是好好做做研究，再决定的好。

所以他们给新客户会用一个稍微便宜的Rate，有的还忽略以前的小事故，以前的反正不

责任在你，损失
