Your Room:
- Wood floor, very spacious, with one closet and three windows
- unfurnished
-Air conditioning
- facing south, pretty warm in the winter.
Location:
-Near the cross-section of Broadway and Norfolk street, several blocks
away
from the Central Square T station.
-One minute walk to a park.
-15 minutes walk to Harvard and 10 minutes walk to MIT. Immediate access
to
subway and various bus lines.
- Close to everything - Wholefoods is 4-minute walk, StarMarket and
Shaws
are nearby. A lot of restaurants, gyms, bars and stores.
The house:
-There are three rooms on the 2nd floor and two rooms on the 3rd floor,
each
room with a housemate. The house was newly renovated two years ago. New
bedroom floors and paints, new bathroom tiles, new kitchen fixtures and
appliances.
-Your room is the 2nd floor, you will share a big bathroom with two
other
very nice housemates on your floor, and people live on 2nd and 3rd floor
share the kitchen (5 person in total, but the 2 who live on the third
floor
have their own refrigerator). Most housemates cook very lightly or don't
cook, so there is no heavy traffic in the kitchen.
- Kitchen is very spacious, with stove, refrigerator, dish washer, oven,
etc
.
- Forced heating
- Coin laundry in the basement, new washers and dryers.
-$50/month extra for an off-street parking space
- non smoking
Housemates: MIT postdoc, Harvard Graduate student, and two young working
professionals. All roommates are very nice. They prefer a quiet and
clean
environment. Hope you have similar preferences.
Fee:
- $850 per month. One year lease ending Aug 31st, 2012.
- Extra $50 per month for off-street parking place.
- water and trash included.
- Utilities (wireless, electricity) $20 - $25 per person per month
(maybe
higher in winter).
