enough bone, you need bone graft, may cost you more.
2) Most insurance cover 50% of the insurance contract fee ( about $3300),
your copay about $1650-1700•
3) Be careful about your dental insurance, not every single missing tooth is
covered by the insurance.
They only COVER when you have a single missing tooth between two healthy
teeth. ( 三缺一， 而且是中间的缺，两边的邻牙无大问题）
For example, if you have TWO missing teeth next to each other, they don'
t pay for it.
If your missing tooth is the last tooth of the
arch, they don't cover it.
If the teeth next to the missing tooth have large
fillings, they don't cover it. They may ask you to do a 3
unit bridge instead.
4) BUT, if you SELF pay for the implant placement, (office fee about $2000),
the insurance company may pay the crown for you at 50%.
5) ALWAYS send pre- estimate to the insurance company before any big
procedure. BUT insurance company said, "pre- estimate is not guranteed for
the payment". They may always say no at any time, but a little bit safer.
Delta dental is one of the worst in terms of payment.
6) DENTAL school's post-doc periodontal department maybe the best place to
go if you REALLY have tight budget.
Just find the last year resident.

半年拔牙，打桩，第二年初上crown, 我老婆有两份牙医保险加跨年度做，就这样我们
还是付了$1000不到的样子，当然用FSA付的。
