The Senior/Principal Software Engineer will work in the Java Framework team
on such projects as web services framework, messaging systems framework and
integration, authentication, authorization, caching, diagnostic tools, and
other java application server infrastructure
Contribute as a Sr. individual contributor within a team of top engineers
Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
15+ years of commercial software development, proficient in developing multi
-tier solutions
Minimum of 7 years of professional Java development experience, exceptional
SQL skills
Strong with OO design and development
Exposure to Big-Data/NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and ElasticSearch
Familiar with distributed memory and computation technology like Hazelcast
Experience with multiple messaging systems a very strong plus, including:
Tibco, Websphere MQ,Sonic, IBM MQ, MSMQ
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, handle
multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal
skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial
sector
Sr. Individual Contributor or Architect level, considered the top within his
/her organization
Technical experience includes:
Strong Java middle-tier and back-end experience (Threading, JDBC, JMX,
Servlets, JNI, JNDI, RMI, JAXP, JAXB, JTA, JMS, JCE, JSSE, SOAP, JAX-RPC,
SAAJ, XML, XSL, HTTP)
Exceptional data modeling, database locking techniques, data replication
Must be able to write architectural specs
Other skills should include: understanding of TCP/IP, HA, load-balancing,
data replication, LDAP; experience with Tomcat and other containers
Product delivery experience includes:
has been a key player in developing and supporting commercial software
products which were sold to non-technical customers in vertical markets
