If you want to look for Chinese players who do well you might have noticed
that this year Shi Xiaodong (from Shanghai) and David Yang(from Taiwan)
finished 17th in the life master pairs. Shi actually qualified for GNT
championship flight in his district. And this 17th finish is the 4th straight
year that they finished in the top 20 in the 6-session LM pairs. That was
quite amazing performance, in my opinion. Especially if you look at the
