consulting. If you want a regular finance job, you don't need an MBA at all. |

depends on the location, top 25 also varies a lot.
only top 10 will be fine, and this is only for full-time.
for part-time, don't bother to pay the money for it.
unless u just want to be promoted internally. |

there are so many schools around DC.
UMCP, GEOGETOWN, GEOGE WASHINGTON, HOWARD, AMERICAN, ETC.
FULL TIME 25TH IS GEOGETOWN.
UMCP IS ALSO OK.
IF THESE TWO SCHOOLS, YOU MAY TRY IT.
OTHERS ARE NO GOOD.
DONT WASTE MONEY. |

the decision depend on age and current salary. part time takes 3-4 years to
complete and if the person is 35 or older by the time of graduation, i say
it's not worth it. also it's harder to change career once older.
My guess is a Georgetown part time graduate without prior consulting
experience can get $80k-$100k base + 10-15% bonus.

not sure about Maryland because it's stronger IT consulting, but Georgetown
part-time can get into a tier 2 consulting firm without much trouble.
assuming he's not too old, speaks good English, and don't might start at
entry level.
