top30的MBA.请问我这样的背景申请国内office 的top consulting firm的entry level
（国内名校本科或者master申请的那种职位）有希望么？

发帖数: 64 | 5 I will be only 26 at the time of graduation in 2009. Almost the same age as
the fresh graduates with a master degree in China.(3 years master). And I
know top consulting firms hire more masters than bachelors from top schools
in China. I am just wondering whether the MBA degree will be considered as
overqualify...Any suggestion?

I wanna know whether the bio master and MBA can be considered as a plus for
that kind of job hunting.

首先如果你对咨询行业感兴趣，不必太担心自己的专业，咨询公司不会在乎你是学什么的
在乎的是你学的有多快。
在国内，既然你已经是top 5的大学了，希望还是很大的，不过想去最好的咨询公司的
话，在年级的成绩应该在前3，至少。记得麦肯锡到北大来的演讲，说如果你在你们系
排名前三的话，我们欢迎你来试试。
就职位而言么，本科毕业一进去是analyst，然后工作几年会提升到associate，或者去
读MBA了，如果已经有MBA的，一进咨询公司，基本上从Associate做起，但是也因人而
定。
不过最好的咨询公司竞争也是很激烈的，在美国top 30的MBA么，如果你真的很有能力
，也许有希望吧。
MBA重要是在于connection，信息，以及找工作的气氛。至于对能力的提升么，我觉得
有限，更多的是你已经有了的能力，会让你更进一步；如果你没有一些需要的能力的话
，你学的会比较辛苦一些。

该大很多，而且可以去比较靠前的商学院。
你是学bio什么方向的啊，biostats有不少模型是可以用到金融里面的。这年头似乎做
统计很吃香。呵呵

the top 15 programs open the door for you
they will consider your application
but whether you can get it or not totally depends on your ability
