UCLA. 另外, UCLA的FEMBA的GMAT平均分要近700分呀

PT MBA at Stern is a NO NO unless tuition is fully paid by your employer.
Read businessweek's posts about Stern's PT before jump in.

Those posts basically complained that PTers can't bid for interviews for

I agree it's the same for all MBA programs. I just wanted to give a second
opinion to the claim 'stern pt is a big no no
unless the tuition is fully paid' so that those wanted to go for PT would
not get discouraged by incomplete info . Just
because a few people complained on a blog does not change the fact that
many more others benefited from it - it
can be easily seen by checking people's resume on the alumus network and
seeing their career progress before and
after the program.

but does the education and service provided by stern to PT justify the
amount of money you pay? PTers pay 90K, the same amount tuition as the FT,
and are treated as 2nd class students at Stern.

Well that is totally up to each individual's perception. I personally know a
guy who would pay $2000 for three days of heli-skiing in a heartbeat and
considers $45 an hour indoor tennis course outrageously expensive. Some
weekend classes has almost 1/4 students from Goldman -- it's not that they
can't get in the FT program, just many thought the opportunity cost of
staying full time in school is too much. If you consider the fact that most
part timers make between $100k and $200k and going to sc

You argued a lot on individual variability. I assume this varibility
explains why you feel so passion about Stern PT, while many other people (
seems to be a quite notable number) felt that Stern ripped them off.

You played the opportunity cost argument for Stern's benefit. I believe that
is the argument Stern used to justify treating PT students differently. You
pay tuition and fees for services (both education and career management are
services). The services should be equal no matter you are FT or PT, since
tuitions are the same.

Well I don't know why they felt they were ripped off. They knew the price,
and they knew the service, and they made their own decision to go for it.
btw I don't feel passion about stern PT, or any PT for that matter. I just
felt it makes the most sense when all factor is considered. Some people
certainly prefer FT, and I won't be surprise.
btw: I read all the complaints from the 'notable number' of people when
doing my research. Believe me, there are at least ten times of people
benefited from i

It's not like buying a car, when you pay the price you demand the same
options. As long as I get what I paid for, I don't care others get more with
the same price -- even given the option I won't be able to go full time
anyway, then that actually makes me feel lucky to live close to a top school
offering PT program, at least I don't have to fly into the city every
weekend like some others do.
Like I said in last post, nobody tricks people into paying for anything. It'
s a free market, everything

agree with you. do not understand why some part-time students think on-
campus recruiting is so important that they felt frustrated at the part-time
program. Maybe I miss something.
In fact, I am considering NYU part-time program. I do not worry about
inaccessible to on-campus recruiting but am concern with part-time studying
and full-time working may be too stressful.

各个学校不一样的。有些学校part time和full time难度差不多,有些part time比
full time容易很多,GMAT平均分都能低个150分左右。具体学校的要求可以看看往年学
生的profile。
