On the other hand, you don't face the harsh competition like
job candidates in these other fields. Indeed, not many positions
in SE are available if you want to find a faculty position after graduation.
In industry, I think the market for SE graduate is ok, especially
if you focus more on software testing, analysis, or verification.
Just my feeling. Maybe others can contribute their impression.

Maybe I want to be a prof. several years ago, but now I want to go to
