Sorry I have no Chinese input right now but this is urgent-
I am currently holding F-1 visa and my wife is F-2. I started a full time
job earlier this month (note: still enrolled in a phd program) and my
employer just filed H-1b visa petitions for me ( and H-4 for my wife as well
). We have to make a short trip to Canada soon (by the end of this month)
but our US visas are all expired.
In my case, do you think we can still return to US from Canada (by driving)
using the "automatic visa validation "policy?

发帖数: 62 | 2 你现在还是学生身份，尽管雇主替你递交了H-1B申请，但看样子只是递交，还没有批准
。你要带上你的I-20，离开美国之前务必要让你们学校国际学生办公室的人在I-20上签
字，证明你的有效学生身份。另外，既然已经开始工作了，那就应该申请了OPT了吧，
把那个EAD卡也带上。出美国时不要上交I-94，因为回来时要用到。 |

发帖数: 2769 | 3 境内转换身份申请（包括带转换身份的I-129申请），如果受益人离境则视为放弃。至
于去趟加拿大不交I-94算不算离境，这是grey area，可能有一定风险。

hotel rooms, and rental cars.
