发帖数: 491 | 4 更恶心的是还要给估一个奇高的价格，再乘以1.8%赋税。
我的2001年的老车给估了近$9000，我都想以他们估价的半价卖给州政府了。

I bought my car 4 years ago for $4k, now, my car is worth $6k. isn't that
just great? not sure if it is hyperinflation or my car is a collectible in
NC though.

我还被罚了一些钱, 因为一直没交. 真不知道车子要交
PROPERTY TAX, 也没收到通知. 气死我了.. |

什么的，不然county tax office根本就不理你。

我税单上旧车的价格也是我从dealer购买时候的的invoice price
black book value号称是车行用来trade in车时候的估计系统，理论上不该比KBB更贵
当然，这东西每个county都可能不一样，看运气了

registration fee each year.

Sadly, you have to pay it every year....
Two years ago, I brought a used car for $7K. The city evaluated it as $12K!

1. We had to have our 2007 car do emission test ($30), which I believe new
car is not required for that for several years in my previous location.
2. When I looked at my invoice after checking out at Walmart, I was very
happy since the "sales" tax is only 2%. However, I found out later that 2%
is on food which is free of tax in my previous location:-(. And the sale
tax is in fact higher than previous one.
3. even sad to find that I need to pay tax for clothes... Wuwuwu... start |
