发帖数: 453 | 2 any chain hotel should be fine. I would suggest those hotels in mount pleasant next to the bridge, such as holiday inn express, hampton inn, etc. it is close to beach, the aircraft carrier, the memorial waterfront park and downtown.
as to the beach, it is better to get to the beach before 10am or the traffic is heavy in the afternoon.i think half a day on the beach is enough. it is really boring. you should have swimming suit, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler with drinks, food at least. a small surfing board will give you some fun. the waves are small here. I would suggest isle of palm county park and Kiawah island county park since you need to take a shower before you leaving. aslo they have safeguards for the sake of safety. | n****n
