If you don’t like the dialer and you switch to this plan from any current
plan (you may have right now), we will switch you back to your old plan
after you have tested the dialer for 2 weeks. ”
既然sign up这个plan的用户不满意可以switch you back to your old plan，
那么以此类推，最近升级到free mad plan （BBQ plan）以及所谓free promotion
upgrade到Moon Shadow Surfing plan的，也应该可以退回原来的plan。但目前客服
告知是不允许的。希望大家有空参与问答的就这点跟rp的ceo交涉一下。
大家还要问：这两个throttle plan 的testing要持续到何时？
还有，大家要指出，如此限速厉害又不给switch back old plan，那么
大家都会到各大论坛吐槽，最终结果是：以后不会再有任何人参与research plan，
要rp的高层考虑到这个反效果，我们对throttle没意见，但要有底线，例如1MB到2MB。
大家不要害羞，要勇于发问，要大胆站出来表达自己的心声，中国人不是东亚病夫！！

The technology used in the Surfing project with our carrier partner had
unforeseeable latency and other complications. This has caused a substantial
delay in the Surfing project and monetization of Surfing data. Other side
effects include slower data speed than expected and data outages at times.
As a result, we are changing the underlying system. During this system
change, I recommend Members with Surfing Plans switch to alternative plans
that we will be offering this week. As you can see, the Relaxed Plan has
always been available to Members on the Surfing 1 plan as a safety net.
Similar Relaxed Plans will be offered to all Surfing data plans. All Members
will be able to change back to the old plan after our new technology is
established. The speed of implementation is not under the sole control of
RingPlus, therefore, we estimate a 2-3 month process.

making a call over cellular)?
回答：
RingPlus does not foresee any incompatibility that would prevent Google
Voice numbers from working through the Smart Dialer and VoIP app.

2. Yes, the Apps will play RingPlus Radio instead of the "ring" on outgoing
calls.
3. Upgrade fees cannot be refunded. However, RingPlus will provide more

，因为速度没throttle，除非你觉得音质较差且有delay你没法忍受。那就不妨花5刀试
试这个free mad promo 3吧。
其他free mad bbq的用户，和 moon surfing shadow用户，我也不知道如何给建议了
还有就是这句:
"Other side effects include slower data speed than expected and data outages
at times"。 大家只关注speed throttle，“data outages at times"这个也得小心，
虽然尚未遇见，但我感觉偶尔会出现连接断续，可能就是data outages at times的表

plans using previous carrier partner technology will be decommissioned. You
will be able to switch to similar plans offered in the near future at the
time the old plans are decommissioned. Our goal is to improve Member
experience and call quality.

No, you have to be only once a day connected to the internet.

If you don’t use the Smart Dialer, we recommend that you move to a paid
plan. RingPlus’ business model is an alternative revenue driven model, not
a free model where RingPlus pays without having any possibility to recoup

了。二家全面转型成app广告模式。legacy ad plan最后都会被逼换掉，没人维护，参
考当前mad surfing。

后怎么变是以后的事。当下如楼上所说，按兵不动静观其变。以后有任何新plan和

拨号器拨号。
如果是voip的话，跟原来ad plan音质不会有大的改进，其它两种的前一种使用起来会
很麻烦，后者的话估计iPhone是没戏了。
ad plan的delay音质非rp可控这点肯定是撒谎了，现在的LTE通话基本都是基于IMS，也
是voip的一种，比基于交换网络的音质要好的多，延迟基本不会有。这方面对r+肯定有
改进的空间。
网络流插广告的话无非就是dns劫持和http插广告，不限速的前提下能不能维持运营真
不好说。如果限速，每个用户的流量消耗的不多的话还有戏。不管什么方式，对用户都
非常不友好。
总结来说，建议各位按兵不动。当备机的无所谓了，如果是主机，还是算了。

不管怎么样，都会在你拨号前必需看/听广告数秒至数十秒，也就是说，每次打电话加
入了人工的延迟等待。这比以前的广告电话（没有人为延迟，只是替换振铃为广告）是
一个退步。
