Only way I know to lock lte bands on the zte pocket wifi is the following.
You need to download "my huawei terminal.exe" and download "putty" to your
computer.
Connect pocket wifi usb to computer and let drivers load. Open huawei and
click the arrow next to connect button. See which com port says zte modem.
Close that then open putty. Switch to serial mode and change comport to the
one you found and hit open.
Type ati then hit enter. Your text might not show up but that's okay just
type and hit enter. It should show you the modem info.
In this link is the bands you can lock. Its going to be 25,26,and 41
Its 0 right now for auto.
Type at+zlockband=0 hit enter. Then type at+zlockband=25 hit enter...that's
band 25
To lock 26 or 41 just follow the 2 steps again but use 26 or 41 instead of
25.
To go back to stock type
at+zlockband=0
***edit*** it looks like you can only lock to the numbers 3,7, and 8. These
will correspond to a band but I don't have an active pocket wifi to see
which one is which.
Do this at your own risk. You are messing with the internal modem settings
and could brick your pocket wifi if not careful. I have not experimented
with it much but I know it changes the lte bands just fine on mine. |

im finally able to do zlockband=8 and got 41 for few second and then it went
back to 25!!!
did =7 still at 25. did =3 and got 41 for few second and then went back to
25!!! wtfff lol
am i really stuck with 25 ???

那个my huawei terminal.exe运行就出错。也看不到com port。
我用putty试了从com1到com19，都不行。
谁有zte的试试看。
