Job Details:
JOB TITLE: Chemical Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Houston TX
TERMS: 6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
• Should be well versed with Dynamic simulation using software like
Aspen Hysis, TLNET, PIPENET etc.
• Hands on experience with process engineering design Software like
Hysis, HTRI, Chemcad, Promax, etc.
• Should understand the project needs and act accordingly.
• Participate in the timely development of Process Flow Diagrams (
PFD’s), P&ID’s, Design Basis, Process & Operational Philosophies, Heat &
Mass Balance, Process data Sheets etc. as required.
• Review PFD’s and P&ID’s.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and Right First Time.
• Ensure Good Engineering Practices are followed
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements with applicable
codes, standards, Regulations
• Participate in value engineering workshops and encourage cost
effective, value for money, optimal design practices.
• Participate in HAZOP, CHAZOP, PSM, Hazard Identification, SIL
studies etc. and ensure that the Process safety requirements are fully
complied with.
