This entrepreneurial team is advancing their unique delivery platform
and in this role, the Senior/Principal Scientist would assist in the
design, engineering, and manufacturing of highly precise targeted
therapeutics. My client is seeking a highly motivated scientist who
thrives on being challenged and working in a highly collaborative
environment. In this Senior/Principal Scientist position, you will play
a key role in conducting rigorous, cutting edge science:
The Senior/Principal Scientist will work hands-on with other members of
the vaccine development group to solve complex scientific problems in
the development of novel vaccine product candidates, based on their
novel delivery platform. The successful candidate will be
action-oriented and possess excellent partnering and communications
skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
* Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering or related, and at least 3
years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry with
direct experience with vaccine development/immunotherapy.
* Extensive, hands on experience in design of biodegradable polymeric or
other synthetic particles as unique drug delivery platforms.
* Experience in characterization of polymeric and nanotechnological
systems are ideal.
* Outstanding ability to work across functional boundaries, bringing
innovative solutions to bear on chemistry, formulation or process
issues.
* High-energy, with strong written and oral communications skills. |
