We have Ph.D. students openings for Materials science and Engineering at
Texas State University. The stipend is $32,000/year (need pay ca. $7,000

Requirements:
1) Since this is a 3-year program, applicants should possess a Master’s
Degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Chemistry,
Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline. Students
with Master degree in Organic Chemistry are highly desirable.
2) A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale is expected.
3) GRE is preferred score of 1150 or better (verbal and quantitative
combined). Based on the new revised GRE scoring system, applicants must have
scored a 304 or higher in Verbal and Quantitative combined.
4) TOEFL score of 550 (paper based), or 78 (iBT) and section scores of 19
/listening, 19/speaking, 19/reading, and 18/writing is required. You can use
IELTS to replace TOEFL.
