发帖数: 226 | 1 小硕一个，在一家中型公司做了将近10年R&D chemist，基本就是在lab, 有两个
technician帮着干活，工作也算稳定，当然也没什么上升的机会。现在有一家化工公司
给我一个senior tech servie representative的职位，salary跟我现在差不多，有15%
target的bonus, 另外公司提供lease car。这份工作主要是跟客户打交道，给他们提
供技术帮面的支持和咨询，出差会比较多，network应该也会扩大很多。
大家有经验的给咨询下，是应该折腾还是不应该折腾？谢谢！ | r*******g

worth trying. I work in one of the largest chemical companies and have
rarely heard anyone without a phd climbing up the career ladder in recent
years in r&d. On the other hand, it is quite common to see phd switching
from r&d to ts. You can always come back to r&d but you can also go for
marketing or sales in the future. Customer service skills are very
transferable and marketable. |
