single time..when i was playing intramural sport leagues back in college,
the rule was to let clock run during FTs unless there's less than 2 minutes
left in the game. I heard it's the same case in community leagues, although
i never played in one myself
However, if one FT takes more than 2 mins, that IS the problem. There should
be at most 10 seconds before the ball gets out of the shooter's hand,
otherwise it is an obviou

on last year's tournment, there were no any clock stoped during the games,
so some teams when they lead one or two points,and the time got only one min
left, they will kill the time when they do the penalty shot, and the game
is over after they finish the penalty shooting, so there's why I suggest
stop the clock when penalty shooting this year.

these league games, and i got ur point that the other team were taking
advantage on it. However, if the clock is stopped for every single FT, the
games would take about twice as long, which makes it difficult because the
organizer does not own the court for that long a period of time
So instead, they should enforce the 10 sec rule - if you don't shoot the FT
within 10s, you lose it. This way no one can kill time by delay
