I went there for $5/tire balancing, they told me mounting is about $2 when they knew I spent $10/tire. |

以前有个朋友换机油，盖子没盖，发动机舱里面弄得一塌糊涂，
找他们，就给了一次free car wash，不是清理发动机舱，是清理车子的外表。。。

costco和sam's换胎价格还算可以的，sam's 还有lifetime rotation和balance，
一年可以做一次。

i damaged my tire completely over the weekend and need a new one.
the local shop told me that a chrysler tire would cost $300!!
i'm looking for a place to get a reasonably priced new tire.

Go to walmart for mounting and balancing. New tires do need balancing.
Pepboy asked for $13/tire for balancing, and longer waiting, then found out
walmart is the cheapest one.

you don't want to go to junkyard yourself. There are a lot of stores sale
new tire AND new RIM.
Alignment is different from Balancing, there is a discount tire direct store
at mount prospect, I did not go there. |

那几个店只能在买二手车的时候去检查，他们会开一张很长的维修单子给你用来砍价。

tires delivered to me and went to other store to change it. I am reluctant
to go to any repair shops because they are always trying to sell other
services.

发帖数: 13236 | 29 要便宜：Discount Dire Direct网上定，考虑rebate,免税，运到家里或者他们店里，
pick up,去walmart安装。如果不在他们店里面买，安装费很贵的，我上过当。
要服务和省心：Costco用他们的70off.
800块4个轮胎应该是好车，去Costco吧。轮子在行车安全中比任何其他东西都重要，好
一点得安心，特别在芝加哥的冬天快来的时候。

their price for tire and rim seems ok.
if i just go there and have them put on a new tire and a new rim for me and
decline all other services, what bad could they do?
i'm leaning towards going to one of those store, cuz they are located in the
city and it's one-stop shop.

去walmart安装。
新轮胎要balance，打一些小钉子到轮胎的不同地方，保证圆圈的重量均匀分布。至于
alignment，是你车子的结构问题，换轮胎不用再次做alignment。
如果不介意多付200~400块的差价（4个轮胎），firestone也可以，自己抉择把。

原配轮胎是P215/50R17 另外请教后面的90H是什么意思。。。
