不过，同意你说这些大佬没用脑子。还是我上次说的，startup company一定要有稳定

investment。如果没有ROI足够高，就是一个失败的广告。如果三百万，用来发小传单
，可以达到比这个好的效果，拿回比这个多的return的话，就说明这个广告是失败的，
还不如小传单的。和这个广告是不是funny，lovely没有任何关系。funny是comic要做
的事情。。。

brand awareness就算很高，也有brand image如何的问题在里面。perspectives是很重
要的。不仅仅是customer的perspectives，还有一个media的perspective在里，还有
investors的对于大多数公司而言，当然，如果要想在中国混，government的也很重要。
然后，任何时候，任何广告都是要为business服务的，公司的strategy是什么，公司下
一步的movement是什么，如何align这些image的东西和strategy一起。。。这才是需要
一个好的commercial的原因。。。
没文化真可怕。。。groupon的这个广告估计就是这样被毁掉的。。。

Lastly, it's a good commercial. people started to talk about Groupon. And if
you defend the Chinese/Market for the wrong reason,you are just making
Groupon look even better in the much bigger market outside China.

广告里面Tibet is in Trouble。这个能说是开玩笑么？
这个广告失败的地方在于，即使是Free Tibet的支持者，也觉得这条恶心。你在芝加哥
唱着小曲，吃着咖喱鱼，而你支持的西藏人还在受苦。有老美的评论就是，当年应该做
个广告，犹太人还在奥斯威辛受苦，我们吃着小饼干，还是打折买来的小饼干。
刻薄的评论很多，tasteless算比较宽容的，有人说no win,有人说本来他们IPO的估值
是15B，现在只有15。退订的人也不少。

simple question: "Did you see the groupon commerical in super bowl?" All of

sense of humor and great perspective blahblah. Then you made your point that
most american people would like it since it is funny and we chinese do not
bother being too sensitive.
You can say that just yourself, the individual, like the commercial but you
don't have to bring in hypothetical majority's thoughts to boost your
confidence. In fact, as I read and heard the negative comments are far more
than positive ones. If you insist that this is a good and well-accept
commercial, please show your evidence.

opinion on this Ads is balanced. There are beautiful scene and beautiful
people in Tibet, there is a very funny plot of mocking Groupon itself by
comparing it selling coupons to the noble course.
That's beautiful and funny, and many people did enjoyed it.
The bad part of the Ads is that it might be inappropriate to use Tibet
people's suffering in their joke, regardless of their intention.
The reason I didn't get into this a lot was that I was arguing Chicmoon's
point of view was very narrow minded. I don't need to bring up this point to
argue with her.
Again, if read my post carefully, you would know that I agree with you on
the flaw of the ads. But again, the argue between me and Chicmoon was that:
Groupon brought up Tibetan people's suffering in their commercial, and that'
s not something they should apologize to the Chinese government. Chicmoon
think they should because they will lose their market, etc. I think that's
nonsense.

. What I am discussing with you is the way you show your evidence. I think
is not professional to assume that most people will like it without knowing
the response of majority, regardless of americans or chinese. The fact is
that this commerical is criticized by a lot people, even by americans
themselves. You can not say a commercial is a successful one if it brings so
much negative impression. But after all, a failed commerical could also be
a good one, maybe vision-wise or humor-wise.
This is the conflict between you and chicmoon. She thought it is failure in
sense of market while you were trying to claim it is a good one in sense of
humor or nobel course(actually I don't really understand this word ). So
basically you guys are talking about different things. You were trying to
argue it is a good commercial market-wise as well, but you are lacking of
your evidence.
Opps, a new fella came in and my american colleagues are talking about the
ad again. I can not tell what exactly they are talking about but I heard "
horrible", "stupid" and "nonsense".

哲学不敢，更不敢玄学.但可以用阴阳学来解释，就是说一切事物都有正反阴阳两方面
组成，没有正就没有反，反过来也是一样，都是相辅相成的。阴阳不调了，人就要生病
