许多私校，不公布标准化考试成绩.

绝大多数高中，无论是私立和公立，都不公布多少毕业生去哪个学校.

The Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) is a two-day standardized
test taken by all High School Juniors in Illinois.
It has been required for all Illinois High School Students since 2001.

芝加哥太阳时报学校排名
The rankings use a statistical method called standardizing to analyze the “
scale score” of every reading and math test statewide.
The method compares each test score with the state average and creates a
school average that’s compared with other schools’ averages. Standardizing
levels the playing field in years when one test might be harder to pass
than others.
The rankings include percentiles, reflecting the percentage of Illinois
students who scored the same as or worse than the average student at each
ranked school.

USNews 使用AP/IB 高中排名
"college readiness index" based on the school's AP or IB participation rate
(the number of 12th-grade students in the 2009-2010 academic year who took
at least one AP or IB test before or during their senior year, divided by
the number of 12th graders) and how well the students did on those tests.
The latter part, called quality-adjusted AP or IB participation rate, is the
number of 12th-grade students in the 2009-2010 academic year who took and
passed (received an AP score of 3 or higher or an IB score of 4 or higher)
at least one of the tests before or during their senior year, divided by the
number of 12th graders at that school. Any individual AP or IB subject test
was considered when determining if a student took or passed at least one
test.
For the college readiness index, the quality-adjusted participation rate was
weighted 75 percent in the calculation, and the simple AP or IB
participation rate was weighted 25 percent. The test that was taken by the
most students at a particular school—either AP or IB—was used to calculate
that school's college readiness index.

regardless of where they live in the city.
Each year, selective schools fill their tier seats by looking at applicants
from each Tier in isolation, and offering enrollment to the top students
within each Tier.

And test score is pretty subjective.
The remaning 60% (17 kids) will be selected based on the 4 socioeconomic
levels derived from census tract. So about 4 kids per socioeconomic group.
请问这华人的公平在那里。 现在的学校里，gifed里老黑劳模占了一大半。 不是因为
他们gifted， 是因为他们是老黑劳模。

说法， 就像无数公司说我们是公平的， 但是不招黑人，不招孕妇一样。
而且，考试也不是公平的， 是interview based。 所以很主观。 加上华人小孩很多
是双语， 表达不行。 所以，这也是比较biased。最近两年的入学学生还是黑人劳模多
。 如果真按智商考试，估计黑人劳模连5%都没有。
