我们RANCHVIEW小学，我女儿班级是21个人，儿子班级是26个人。
差别还是很大的。
STATE想平衡各个学区的差距，这个，下州很多穷学区也是沾光的。所以支持面还是很
广的。
实际就是chicago的好区对全州的局面。估计HOUSE最后也会批准。
这个事，我们RANCHVIEW的LIST很早就讨论过，上半年很多人就给州议员写信了，但是
没啥用。 |

My son's school has 35 students per class.
There is no full time teacher assistant either.
It is a very good public school actually. Other good public schools also
have over 30 students per class.
Compared to a private school, 15 student per class with teacher plus full-
time assistant. There is indeed a difference.

但是PENSION的问题要比这大多了。
而且PENSION受益的是少数人，即使民主党被教师和其他工会捆绑，但是民主党里也不
是铁板一块的，下州的民主党议员不见得支持CTU的受益者。
这个从禁枪就可以看出了。

proof. As much as I hate to pay for the mistakes (or thievery) by previous
majors and governors, there is very little once could do to reduce the
pension liability.
The current plan, proposed by some, is to reduce the pension for current and
new employees while increasing their contributions. This still cannot cover
the pension liability, which is huge.
Absent a bankruptcy or a massive tax hike, there is no real solution.
Bankruptcy is not unthinkable now we have Detroit as example.
Massive tax hike probably won't go anywhere if there is no shared pain.

发帖数: 36302 | 5 虽然以前的PENSION受保护，但是显然已经不能维持下去了，只能是改革新人的PENSION。
变成401K之类的。
