Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of goods to
job sites, freight forwarders, other companies, and clients. The position
requires coordination with both internal and external stakeholders. The
person hired for this position will be required to maintain regular contact
with both internal staff as well as suppliers, and will regularly report
progress, potential risks, and resolutions to internal management. Travel to
meet with suppliers may be occasionally required.
The person hired for this position must be fluent in both English and
Mandarin Chinese.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Establish relationships with suppliers as well as internal
stakeholders;
• Create and monitor shipping and receiving schedules;
• Update schedules as necessary;
• Proactively coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time shipments
and deliveries based on the established schedules;
• Produce and maintain weekly shipping and receiving schedule reports;
• Identify shipments at risk of being late;
• Identify late shipments;
• Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to create plans to
remedy at-risk shipments or late shipments;
• Track and monitor compliance with remediation plans;
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to ship and receive materials;
• Manage all import and export customs clearance issues;
• Update the ERP system with all relevant shipping and receiving
information;
• Facilitate coordination and communication between local Procurement
& Logistics Department staff.

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university;
• Two to five years’ experience;
• MS Office experience; and
• ERP experience.

✓ Ability to translate from Mandarin to English
✓ Ability to translate from English to Mandarin
